The student registration panel can be accessed by using your installation's URL and then adding "/registration" to it. For example, if your site login is located at:

https://sdXX.smsonline.ca/

Then your registration page will be located at:

https://sdXX.smsonline.ca/registration/

Confirmation questions

When students open the registration interface, they will be presented with a list of confirmation questions. By default, the only confirmation question is to certify that they will provide correct information. You can add custom confirmation questions that override this message by logging into the staff interface as an admin user and clicking on "Admin settings" after hovering over your name.

Course selection

Students who are Graduated, Graduated Adults, Ungraduated Adults, or grades 10 - 12 will be required to select at least one course before they can submit their application.

To make a course visible in this part of the interface, it must be listed as "open". We recommend regularly checking the list of open courses to keep it small enough for students to realistically read through them all. You can read more about course states in the Course States documentation.

Differences between grade levels

The registration form may progress differently depending on the information that the student provides on the form. The two major differences are that:

  1. Students who select "Graduated", "Graduated Adult", or "Ungraduated adult" will not be requested to provide a school.
  2. Students who select a grade between K - 9 will not be requested to select a course at registration time. This is so clerical users can reach out to their parents and them to coordinate a course select cooperatively, then add it manually using the staff interface.
