Version 2.28.0

• New feature: Searches will now match a student's common name.
• New feature: Changing a student's email address now generates an activity log entry.
• Bug fix: The MyEdBC record sync would import records with malformed ancestry settings. This has been fixed and the SMS now rejects these records.

Version 2.27.3

• Bug fix: The SMS no longer crashes when parental sync errors are encountered. Instead, the error is now presented to the user, as it is usually caused by improperly formatted information.

• Bug fix: Resolves issue where contacts would have to be saved twice in order to persist to Brightspace.

• Bug fix: Fixes an issue caused by the fact that we cannot sync parental relationships for inactive students. To get around this, we skip syncing when students are inactive and try again when they've been reactivated.

• New feature: Student contacts are now synced to Brightspace. Parent accounts will now automatically be created.
• New feature: The SMS now sends an email when a student's LMS account is reactivated
